My favorite color, too. Yum. The new Accord is so nice.
How is the CVT in these?
I wish I had money.

I like it, but I absolutely must have the 6-speed if I buy one.

Yep. Don’t want a manual. I know, I know.

If you’re going for the Accord for Automotive Gods’ sake either get
1. 2.0T with the manual
2. 1.5T with the manual
3. 2.0T with 10 speed auto over the cvt at any cost

Don’t want a manual so I guess the 10-speed would be the only thing to appease the gods.

It’s been getting very good reviews. it’s not selling well like the Camry so they just announced bigger discounts. Up to 1100 on a lease.

If that has the CVT it’s the “Sport” with the 1.5t - you want 2.0 “sport” with the 10speed (or manual.) They are nice and beautiful.

Honda’s CVT is better than most.
Also, a Roadwire installer can do red Daytona belts:
This one’s a 2.0T/10A

I had a CVT Accord Sport. I tried to to like it. It was a comfortable car, spacious, great gas-mileage, the CVT was annoying so I never put it in “sport” mode.

I see them fairly frequently now, although sadly I see the Camry far more often. I think the Camry is ugly while the Accord, though not as attractive as my own, has definitely grown on me. I imagine it’s due to the average age of a mid-size buyer skewing older, and older folks tend to shun turbos, so they want to go for the V6.

If I were you, if possible, spend a little more and get a 2.0 Sport. You get the 10 speed auto instead of the CVT, a sunroof, better infotainment, full keyless, and a few other goodies that make it a much better value

...but it’s so... awkward, bloated, and ugly... like a new Malibu that hit a wall and the plastic surgeon was drunk and apathetic.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one.

Someone at my college has a 2018 Accord Sport in that blue color... I think it’s called Still Night Pearl? I gotta admit, it looks DAMN good in person. I really don’t like the whole fast back design, but up close and in person, it doesn’t bother me at all!

Late to the party, but I just saw this post.
I’m driving a ‘15 EX w/ CVT. Honda’s CVTs rate better than most in reliability. I didn’t want that transmission at all, but I’ve grown to be okay with it (still don’t love it). I really want to turn it in at the end of the lease in July and upgrade to the ‘18 Sport, but she wants to keep the ‘15. We’ll most likely compromise, and keep the ‘15.
